It's a bit reassuring that we once again live in a time when factory hood pins and fiberglass hood scoops are mounted to muscle cars


They don't put the clips on the cars, as they learned in 1969 that they get stolen when left on a parking lot.

They hand them to the new owner. If anyone should be the one to scratch a hood by mistake, or lose a clip, let it be the person who bought a car. Not the salesman who has to try and sell cars in the scratched and dented section... of the new car lot.
